Ogarami: The Beginning of Darkness

From childhood, a brilliant young boy watches humanity destroy the world around him. Unlike those around him, he doesn't place his faith in God—he places it in science. Despite repeatedly becoming the top student, achievement never satisfies him. His real dream is to decode the mysteries of existence and discover who—or what—is behind the universe. Together with his closest friend, he begins investigating strange cosmic patterns, including a mysterious nebula resembling a giant eye and an ancient matrix hidden within the structure of the cosmos. Millions of years earlier, a powerful cosmic being named Ogarami stood alongside the gods of the cosmos. When Ogarami chooses Earth over the cosmic order, he becomes a traitor in the eyes of the gods. During his journey, he encounters a young boy whose father is attempting to seize control of a planet and obtain forbidden power. Ogarami is forced to kill him, then adopts the boy and takes him before the cosmic gods. But the boy's hatred never disappears. Years later, he manipulates the cosmic gods and turns them against Ogarami. To protect Earth, Ogarami is stripped of his powers and cast away, disappearing from existence. In the present, the young scientist's search for the truth leads him directly into the conflict Ogarami left behind. As the final battle approaches, the truth about the cosmos, Ogarami and the enemy is finally revealed—leading to a confrontation that could determine the fate of Earth itself.
