Synopsis

Former Special Forces soldier Ethan Cross lives in isolation outside the forgotten Tennessee mountain town of Red Hollow, hiding what he became overseas: a werewolf. Every night, Ethan injects himself with liquid silver and wolfsbane to suppress the creature inside him. But when a stranded woman is brutally slaughtered on Old Mill Butcher Road, Ethan recognizes the wounds—and realizes another werewolf has entered the Hollow. Ethan and his longtime friend, Detective Mercer, uncover a pattern of savage killings stretching across decades, all dismissed as animal attacks. Crime-scene photographs reveal something even more disturbing: the same mysterious man appearing near the murders without aging. The trail leads to Malik, a powerful Alpha with a devastating connection to Ethan’s past. Years earlier, Malik slaughtered Ethan’s military unit, infected Ethan with the werewolf curse, and ultimately destroyed the family Ethan tried to build afterward. But Malik hasn’t returned for Ethan. His real target is Caleb, a local firefighter carrying a rare pure-blood werewolf lineage. With a Blood Moon approaching, Malik intends to use Caleb’s blood in an ancient ritual that can spread the werewolf curse throughout Red Hollow. As Caleb begins experiencing terrifying changes of his own, Ethan realizes that stopping Malik will require him to unleash the very monster he has spent years poisoning and suppressing. Malik completes the ritual, transforming the people of Red Hollow—including Mercer—into werewolves. Ethan finally surrenders to his transformation and battles Malik at the town’s abandoned rock quarry, killing the Alpha responsible for destroying his life. But Malik’s death cannot reverse the ritual. With an entire town of werewolves threatening to escape into the outside world, Ethan makes a final devastating choice: he ignites the gas lines running beneath Red Hollow and destroys the town. Ethan survives. Mercer survives, permanently changed by the curse. And from the opposite ridge, Caleb watches the ruins burn—leaving the surviving bloodlines and consequences of Red Hollow to continue into a larger interconnected horror universe.
